I just submitted an application for a month long internship with Seth Godin.http://www.squidoo.com/summerintern08 Seth is one of the preeminent marketing experts in the world and this is an awesome opportunity. Currently only 54 other people have applied (according to Facebook). At least three of the applicants have sunk to creating Facebook groups that average under 100 members. I believe these attempts mark desperation and actually weaken their applications by failing so miserably in their intended goal. Aside from the awesomeness that was my application, I now have to woo Seth into thinking I am more awesome than the undoubtably talented competition.
